London: Imprinted by Felix Kyngston for Robert Bostocke, 1632. ,535,;,301,304-525,pp. Small quarto. Old calf (spine defective and textblock split), persistent faint tide-mark in upper forecorner of first work, and at lower edges of first few leaves; same in fore- margin of second work from p. 465 to end; a good working copy. Second edition, revised and corrected by the author, of the first work, first edition of the second. ESTC notes that this is not an uncommon configuration and the second work may have been intended to accompany the first. The second and third treatises in the first work have their own separate full title- leaves, with dated imprints, but the pagination and register are continuous. Rather early works by Reynolds (1599-1676), Fellow of Merton College, and eventually Vice- Chancellor of Oxford, but lost that post when he did not subscribe to the Oath. Eventually he was appointed Bishop of Norwich. ESTC S115886 & S115794. STC 20935 & 20927.
