An excellent topographical map of the Florida Peninsula (see MAP00305 for the Panhandle), The primary focus of the map is the central area of Floricda from Jacksonville, St. Augustine and Lake City in the north and the numerous lakes and waterways, most notably the St. John's River, marking the state's central regions. The main map extends south to 28 degrees North Latitude, but an inset map in the lower left corner includes the remainder of the Peninsula as far as the Florida Keys, Marquesas and Dry Tortugas. This inset also includes the Everglades, Lake Okeechobee, and Tampa Bay. As a whole, the map measures 28" x 17 1/2" to neatlines, 29 1/2" x 18 1/4" to margins.
