London: [Boy Scouts Association (Great Britain)], 1937. [The book titled 1934-36 comprises Vols I & II, from April 1934-March 1936, each Volume followed by an Alphabetical Index, but lacking issues #2, #4 and #7 from Vol I, and #12 is mis-bound into Vol II #1. The book titled 1936-37 comprises Vol III & part of Vol IV, from April 1936-October 1937: Vol III lacking #7, and Vol IV lacking #2.] ** Contents clean and unmarked, slightly tanned, but printed on better stock than the average magazine, in very good order. Endpapers have some foxing. The covers have not been bound in, but the issues included appear otherwise complete, with c.45pp each, many illustrations, good articles, fun, and advertisements. Quarto, edges sprinkled, in contemporary brown pebble cloth, spines ruled and titled gilt. Clean and firm, with small scuffs to spines, and ends puckered. Very nice collection. Scarce. [The large range of articles includes a series of 'Recipes for Living' - a series of interviews by Arthur Groom with, for example, Sir Malcolm Campbell, G.K. Chesterton, and Eric Gill.]. [EXTRA Heavy Item]. Very Good.
