Churchill In Parliament, publisher's Uncorrected Proof Copy
Price: 50.00 USD
London: Robert Hale Limited, 1967. Bibliographer Curt Zoller calls this "The only specialized work on Churchill's parliamentary career, with thirty chapers exploring his huge span of years in the House of Commons, scene of his greatest dramas, loftiest status, and most humiliating defeats." Here is the publisher's Uncorrected Proof Copy, bound in pale pink wraps with the publication date, price, and volume size inked by hand on the front cover. Lacking index and illustrations. Condition is good plus. The binding remains square and tight, with some wear to extremities, minor overall soiling and a trace of spotting, a crease to the upper rear corner, and some spine toning. The contents remain bright and sound. We find no previous ownership marks. Spotting appears confined to the page edges and the first few leaves. The corners of the first and final several leaves show a few small bumps and dog ears. The Bibliographic reference: Zoller A314. First edition. Good plus.
