Paris: De L'Impremerie De Rignoux, 1828. . 8vo. iii, 178 pp. This is a collection of essays and poems by Pierre Joseph Fessin who was both a moralist and a type founder. His income came from being a tax adjuducator for the Tribunal de Premiere Instance, a position he held for 50 years. He is famous in the annals of typefounding for inventing an alloy of copper and lead for casting type for which he was awarded a bronze medal at the 1839 fair. In 1865 he was given the honor of Brevet. OCLC locates only 1 copy at the Bibliotheque Nationale De France. No copy for sale on line. Errata slip in manuscript by the author tipped in between last p.
