Early edition of the Butler's Hudibras with plates by Hogarth. T. Binding extremities lightly rubbed, light abrasion at top of front cover. Marginal tear in frontisportrait, a little light foxing. Armorial bookplate of American linguist and diplomat John Dyneley Prince (1868-1945). A very attractive copy in morocco tipped cloth open-end slipcase.
