Paradise Outlaws: Remembering the Beats

Price: 95.00 USD

New York: William Morrow and Company, Inc, 1999. An interesting look at the Beats, SIGNED by both the author and photographer on the title page. Quarto, 226 pages. Very Good+ in a Fine dust jacket. Slight bend to the rear board and small stain on lower fore edge. Copies signed by both author and photographer are uncommon in the market. An attractive copy. This is a collection of essays by noted Beat scholar John Tytell with accompanying photographs by Mellon, his wife. "Essays" really doesn't do this book justice, because Tytell, a noted scholar on the Beat Generation, also writes about his life among the Beat writers. Lots of fabulous anecdotes from someone who knew them well. A lot of great pictures, too. Tytell and Mellon have both signed the title page, where Mellon has also written "Good Luck" above her signature. First Edition, First Printing.
