An extensive timetable for "America's Most Popular Railroad," connecting Chicago to St. Louis and Kansas City, with extended connections to San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle. A full sheet railway map appears on the verso, depicting the entire United States, Southern Canada and northern Mexico. The Chicago & Alton line is printed in bold black, as are the most relevant extensions. The text advertises the Railroad's pioneering dining car service with all meals $1.00 for adults and 50 cents for children. An illustration on the back panel depicting a lady dozing in a chair while reading a book advertises "Palace Reclining Chair Cars Free of Extra Charge."
