Having done so much to win the war, Churchill faced frustration of his postwar plans when his wartime government fell to Labour in the General Election of July 1945. Churchill would remain Leader of the Opposition until his Conservative Party won the General Election of October 1951. This fragile magazine measuring 13.75 x 10.75 inches (35 x 27.4 cm) is in very good condition. The contents are bright and crisp with no spotting or creasing. The covers retain their bright color and the wire stitched binding remains strong. There is some light rippling to the top of the magazine as well as an address label affixed to the lower front cover corner. First edition.
