Previous owner's name penned on front pastedown; multiple cracks to text block; discoloration and spotting to interior pages. The Herman Miller Furniture, Co. had showrooms at One Park Avenue in New York, Merchandise Mart in Chicago, Exhibitors' Building in Grand Rapids, and 816 South Figueroa in Los Angeles. They were founded in 1905 as the Star Furniture Co. and are famous for such signature products as the Equa chair, the Noguchi table, and the Eames Lounge Chair. They are also credited with the invention of the office cubicle. A catalog featuring the furniture that was in production during the time of its publication. The Eames Lounge Chair did not hit the market until 1956. The Noguchi was created in 1947 and is shown throughout. First edition. Good.
