Vietnam-era poster produced by the War Resisters League, stating through words and images that the Vietnam War was being funded by the American public directly through the taxation system. Beneath the center image of a war plane is the following quote by Dwight D. Eisenhower: "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed...". OCLC notes 3 holdings (MoMA NY, U.Michigan, and U.Virginia), and we note additional copies held at LC and the V&A. Original illustrated poster, offset printed in three colors on white stock, measuring 44.5cm x 54cm (17.5" x 21.25"). Two faint folds smoothed out, tiny pin-hole near text at lower right panel, else Near Fine.
