Price: 2,950.00 GBP

London: W. T. Stead, 3 Whitefriars Street 13th April 1905, [Politics / Economics] FIRST EDITION. Pamplet (25 x 15cm), pp.22; [2], ads. Bound in black and white photographic covers, scarce order form on green paper stock remains affixed to upper. Original price One Penny. One-page prefatory notice by editor W. T. Stead, followed by three-page biographical sketch 'Winston Churchill: Past, Present, and Future.' Contents clean but for faint tide mark to fore-edge, covers a little dusty with one short tear. A very good copy. The first in a series on dynamic thinkers of the day, this was Churchill's first writing on Free Trade, having crossed the floor from the Conservatives to the Liberals in 1904. Later collected in the book-form edition 'Coming Men on Coming Questions'. Woods A7/1.
