Price: 64.80 USD

Berlin, Germany: Bruno Cassirer, 1914. Half oatmeal cloth with grey paper boards. [82] pp. 8 bw plates. Text is in German. On cover: Adam von Fulda. A 1914 reproduction of an old German text first printed in Wittenberg in 1512. Translated, it's "A very pious and Christian booklet from the Holy writings and studies," a tale of Christ presented in five parts, first written in Old German by German music author Adam von Fulda (1445-1505). Reproduced here are the original calligraphic (Fraktur) pages, enhanced with eight woodcut illustrations rendered by Lukas Cranach (1472-1553). With a new introduction by Eduard Flechsig. Beautiful and unique! VG (some mild edge wear and soiling to covers; few exlibrary marks, interior is clean.).
